Hartford City Guide

The city of Hartford, CT needed an upgrade to its branding to attract more tourism. Creating this City Guide was a way to help with new brand recognition while also educating people on activities and places to visit in Hartford. The guide has five sections, including historic places, food, local events, places to stay, and areas to shop. Due to the city's historic nature, I chose a blackletter type to communicate the historic charm this city has to offer. With the illustrative nature of the font I used another cursive font to use as illustrative marks throughout the spreads.
